We did have sun this week!

Really, we did. I know we did. I have a picture of it right here to prove it.
While I was driving home from work on Wednesday I wished I had my camera to capture the ice twinkling like a million stars in the sunlight.
I made it home on time to catch a few "rays". This photo was taken of the field to the south of our house. The clouds just coming up along the horizon gave the appearance of a far-off mountain range.
One of my favorite memories is that of how the Rocky Mountains seem to appear on the horizon in the west gradually. They start out looking like clouds low to the ground. Then you'll see snow caps that look like clouds up in the sky. Before you know it, they're looming overhead.
Knitting.
Yep, I've been knitting. I have to have a marathon knitting session this weekend to finish the big mohair sweater that I'm working on. Then, I want to finish the white sock for the Socks for Soldiers group so I can send the latest 2 pairs off next week.
Then I want to finish the mohair/rayon cardigan that I'm working on for myself.
It's so gratifying to finally finish something no matter who it's for. It would be even more satisfying to finish 3 things all in one week.
Back to my knitting.
Jeeping?
I haven't done anything with my TJ except drive it back and forth to work. On my way to work yesterday I saw one of the new 4-door Wranglers in the most amazing color combination. I want one. I gotta find a photo of it so I can dream. I may even put it here for all to see. Maybe I can start something.....

I love your snow pictures! It snowed here in Fort Worth, Texas the day before yesterday. It's all gone now, so I'll just enjoy your photos and pretend I still have a reason to curl up and knit.

Enjoy your snow!
