Wonderful weather we're having here today!

This morning it started with some drizzle, turned into a downpour, changed to sleet and now, while I'm typing, it's snowing really big flakes. This all in a matter of 4 hours.
I was going to go to the grocery store but decided that the frozen Lean Cuisines will do just fine today.
Even though I do have one of those Go-Anywhere Jeeps, there is a limit to what I will drive through when I don't have to go anywhere. Most of my trip to the store would be on gravel roads so there would be minimal slipping and sliding. I love driving in the snow. Always have, especially when it's deep and everything is so quiet.
I also love the sound skiing makes when it's really snowing.
So, since I can't go anywhere, no - make that won't go anywhere - I'm going to rush to the bank's website, pay my mortgage in case the satellite goes out and get some knitting done. I'm still working on those socks for the soldiers and have 1/2 pair done. Yep, that would be 1 sock out of 2 on the latest pair. I also have a mohair sweater to work on. I'm winding some of that yarn into a ball right now.
I finished my first object of '07 a week ago and will post a photo of the pair of socks sometime this afternoon after they're out of the laundry.
Happy Knitting and careful Jeeping!
