Black Friday?

Anyone out there shopping today? I checked a price on www.kohls.com and that's about it for me this a.m. I'm not going out there to be in the crowds this early. Well, it's not early anymore since it's almost 9 a.m. I'm just wondering what I should have for breakfast.
I'm home alone. Steve's off playing raquetball which is one sport that appears to be just a little to painful for me. He comes home with sore joints and welts from being hit with the ball. Not me. Not gonna do it.
Sports? Yep there are a few that I like to play. Tennis is one. It's been a while, though. Seems to be hard to find time and a court both at the same time. So, I prefer biking and rollerblading. Now that we live out here in the farmland the gravel road isn't friendly for blading. So, gotta find a park or path in the spring since I got to get back to it. Sometime this weekend I'm going to bring my bike in and set it up on the trainer. I'm also thinking about buying myself one of those wireless Vetta so I can keep track of how many "miles" I ride down there.
Thanksgiving was nice yesterday. We had dinner with Steve's dad and his wife Judy. Judy's son Joe was here from Boston so it was nice to finally meet him. Guess what! He owns a Jeep, too. He's got a '00 Wrangler - canary yellow - but still, it's a Wrangler. I like him.
I still haven't gotten back to working on my Soldier Socks yet. I gotta finish the one I'm working on for me. I need some new wool socks this winter so I have enough to at least get me through a week of work and have an extra pair for the following week in case I might not get the laundry done. Huh? Does that happen? Yep.
I'm gonna go look for breakfast before it's time for lunch.
Have a good Friday and don't shop too much. Remember how painful it is when those charge card statements roll in early next year.
