Yes, I know that's yesterday's photo. I might go outside today and take more. It's pretty much a day like yesterday. Sunny and windy. I think it's a little warmer though.
I had lessons yesterday on how to start our lawnmower. It's not your usual little mower. We mow a couple acres with our's so we bought a big mower. It's a walk-behind because we're still able enough to not need to ride on our mower. If we want, we can add a "surrey" to the back. I think it would be like lawn surfing then. How cool. I'm thinking that I might actually mow the lawn one day this week. My significant other won't be able to. So, what the heck.
He also told me that I could drive the old Jeep around to keep it from getting too hard to start. Why is that a challenge you say? It's a stick. It's been so long since I've driven anything with a stick. No, actually, I drove our old tractor and it's a stick. Way different, though. I wasn't in traffic and it doesn't stall out.
I have a question of the day. How many calories do we burn when we knit? I moved my laptop to the kitchen yesterday and discovered that I have consumed quite a bit of chocolate and peanut butter. Now, I've only had 2 real meals in the past 2 days so maybe that will help. Good thing I'm heading back to work tomorrow. I don't snack at work 'cause it's silly to spend all that money on old snacks in those machines.
I had to rip out a sock that I was working on yesterday. I discovered that I was a couple stitches short. By the time I noticed I was at a crucial spot. Those 2 stitches were a big deal, too. I'm almost where I had to start over yesterday and at about 24 hours later. Since I started my sock over I knitted a neckband on a sweater that I found in the basement and started sewing it together. I may have a new sweater to wear this week. Yay!
Back to my knitting.
