Ok Nancy,
Here's the yarn that I won. I just officially payed for it so it should be on it's way soon.
You say I should add some of the pink eyelash somehow and make a sweater then post a photo of the finished product.
Well, here's an ever better challenge. A guy at work - well, I guess it's safe to say his name is Andy - reminisces rather frequently about the orange and lime green his sweater made for him as a kid. He even HAD to wear it. She even knitted him another sweater after that one that had pink "lightening rods" design knitted right in. He said she was still kinda stuck in the old-country ways. His brother got a nice, calm brown sweater that he had to wear.
Poor Andy.
I told him that it must have built character because he sure has some. He's a chemical engineer in the polymers area and you often have to wonder about the effects of those fumes. Now, I'm thinking his personality traits have always been there and his mom with her knitting talent just helped bring them out.
I'm up for this challenge, that's for sure. I'll make a sweater and add some other interesting colors. Why not? I'll even wear it myself - to work - they expect it of me. I was real dull today. Khakis and a cream turtleneck and my khaki jacket. Yep, felt rather dull when I got up this a.m.
I'll have to see if I can find those fern green corduroys and wear them tomorrow......
