Keeping and eye out the window

While I'm watching out the window waiting to see if the downpour is coming or passing by, I'll tell you about what we did yesterday. I can type today! I trimmed my nails and can type rather well on this tiny laptop now. Should have done it days ago. I don't like long nails anyway. They get in my way. Gardening is one of my favorites.
That's another thing - I have 11 mum plants and 2 ornamental grasses outside waiting to find their place in the flower bed.
Who is that bunny in the cage? I don't know if he had a name, but, he was for sale yesterday. I didn't see a sign or anything to see how much they wanted. Angora. So soft and cuddly. All the yarn the vendor had for sale was either white or pink. What's with the pink? I didn't feel that yarn. I'd want it.
Where was I? I guess I should have said. I went to the farm that's the subject of the website www.sheepstuff.com and should have gone years ago. I want to know how I can become a volunteer for the annual Wool & Fiber fest. Looks like lots of fun watching those sheep get sheared and watching all those creative people touching and feeling all those yarns. I got a handful of fleece out of a big basket. They just had it there so you could have a clump right off the sheep.
Llamas were so entertaining. I want one. Maybe you need more than 1 so they don't get lonely. But, from what I saw, 1 llama and any other animal is ok. One white llama there just wanted to be outside with the dog and sheep so bad that it just stood at the window in the barn and made a llama barking sound while it's owner was trying to brush him to make him pretty. He was for sale, after all. Blue Water Llamas and Alpacas was the company. I have to see if they have a website since I didn't get a card or brochure.
Estelle the sheep was also up for sale. Sad story. She's just a youngster but, during her first pregnancy had a prolapse and now can no longer have lambs. Her resume said she'd be excellent for keeping your lawn mowed and will provide fleece. She was nice and white and very friendly. There wasn't a price listed, though. I have space here for a nice friendly sheep.

Somehow I just deleted my llama photo. I can save that for another day, right? I have to pace myself with those exciting events since I don't get many of them.
This sheep was getting flopped and twisted all over the place and didn't even seem to mind. Either that or knew that this happens every year so just deal with it.
The Festival is going on again today but with the nasty clouds and heavy wind out there right now I'm glad we went yesterday. I didn't buy any yarn and rather surprised Steve. I did tell him that some of the vendors had excellent prices, but, I think I can probably locate them and still get some yarn from them later. Also, there's a website for Mt. Bruce Station so I can shop there whenever I want. I can also make the farm a stop on my way home from work since it is kinda on the way. Sorta.
Have a great Sunday.
Looks like the clouds are going over so I can go to the grocery store now. One of my least favorite places to go.
Steve's at the Lions football game this afternoon. I can still say I'd rather be here alone with my knitting, doing laundry, going to the grocery store.....
