For the past 5 years I have participated in the annual fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. It's been getting tougher each year to get my co-workers to give up their hard-earned bucks. So, I just go around and ask each person for just $1. That's all, just $1. My goal this year is just to reach $100. Last year I went way over that because, in the end just before the walk, people started handing me money. I had those paper sneakers taped up all over the place here at work. This year, I haven't started collecting money just yet from the people here. It's coming, though. Next week.
Tomorrow, we're having a golf outing. I don't golf. I just go to put out signs, help sign in the golfers and help hand out the prizes to those that are actually good at golfing. Amazing that there are people who can play this game.
