Now what am I doing?

I'm sitting here at my computer on a Thursday a.m. That's my home computer, that is. My kitty Iggy - yep, the one that shredded the bag of sawdust - has a day at the "spa" today so I'm taking a day off work. I'll be making it up on Saturday, of course, but, I can handle that.

Iggy needed some dental work. Cleaning and sealer. He's 4 years old and I never thought of a trip to the kitty dentist for him. He sure was crabby this a.m. after not eating since last night. I had to hide in here with my oatmeal because he kept giving me "the eye".

Those are the latest tulips blooming here in the house. The yellow ones are on their way out towards that ugly-tulip-stage. Yesterday my blueberry bushes arrived in the mail. I'm so excited. Let's see if they really produce hundreds of nice plump berries while living in flower pots. Yep, these bushes are not supposed to be planted in the ground. I also have 6 cinnamin ferns to plant as soon as the weather seems friendlier. I love ferns in shady spots.

Steve's tractor is at the Tractor Doctor. It's been there for 3 weeks now and the guy hasn't had time to do anything with it other than move it around. I saw it out there this morning, still sitting and waiting. Poor Fordson. Steve was thinking of selling it, but, I convinced him that those old classics from the 50's are going to be worth even more in a few years. It's a diesel and just keeps going. Only problem it's having is it needs a litter box under it at all times.

Knitting - what's new? I joined the "One Skein" exchange yesterday. That should prove to be fun. If you're interested go to www.oneskein.com and sign up. I think I'm going to buy the book as well.

Have a great Thursday!
