Twas the Friday before the Super Bowl in MI

The Super Bowl is here!
It's been busy around here lately although I can't tell the difference. That's all the buzz. Everyone's heading to downtown Detroit for the Hoopla - not us. We're gonna watch the festivities from the nice warm comfort of our own home.

What's with the Jeep? Just gotta do it every now and then - keep the Jeepgirl in the Knitting.

The yarn over there? It's one of the yarn selections that I'm using during the Knitting Olympics. Katia mississippi 3 print again. You see that I finally have a couple "clear" photos on my blog here. I discovered that it really does make a difference if you don't have your digital camera's shutter speed adjusted correctly. With my 35mm slr that just isn't a problem.

We're supposed to get about 6-10" of that white fluffy stuff known as snow over the next 24 hours. Mix that with a billion trillion drunk Super Bowl fans and it could get messy out there. Do we really think all that snow is coming? Huh? The last time they said we were getting snow we just got some dust. It's been all mud around here for over a month. My TJ looks like I've been off-roading when all I've been doing is going back and forth to work.

I stopped in at Michael's Crafts this afternoon to get a ball of Lion Brand yarn. It seemed like they had everything but what I needed. I needed another sock yarn - none to be found. So, what did I use my 40% coupon for? Modge Podge. Yep. Gonna try a craft that's new to me. I had 3 papier mache boxes that have been in need of something. I painted the round ones but thought I'd try a new route. I'll keep you all posted on this new endeaver.

modge podge sounds like fun!
the lion brand is notorious, as needing 3 balls for 1 pr of socks even if only up to woman's size 8! check the yardage on it... but you could use a solid and keep going?
