Cold-weather fungus?

These guys were popping up all over the place in the woods of da UP. Yep. We went on vacation to our cabin in the woods. It was cold up there. Not as cold as usual, but, we didn't have any good hardwood firewood so the high temp for us on the inside was around 60 degrees.

I shouldn't complain - at least I wasn't at work, eh?

No deer for us this year.

They all stayed down here and munched on our pine tree.
