Weight Watchers

That's the sweater I'm working on now. #12 in knit simple. It's going quickly. Maybe I'll have another new sweater to wear before the month is out.
Hmmm. I better finish the mohair sweater for the shop first.
Weight Watchers.
Anyone else out there signed up after making up their mind over the Holidays that you had to? I'm a lifetime member and former employee - a Leader. I rejoined online because I had discovered that 20 of the 30 lbs that I lost 2 years ago (for the 4th time) found me. If I don't exercise non-stop the weight just creeps right back. So, yesterday was my weigh-in day for week 4. How's it going?
It's not.
2/10ths of a pound in 4 weeks.
How depressing.
I know, I know. Get exercise. I have been. I'm using the eliptical trainer and the Ab Lounger and the Total Gym and I still don't look like the people in their instruction manuals.
I'm doomed to be "normal".
Now, I'm really not "overweight" by much. I'm only 10 lbs above my high-end ideal weight for my height and age. When I look at it that way, and I know that I have the rest of my life to get there, I'm not so depressed.
When I went back to my chart from 2 years ago it turned out that the same thing happened then. No real loss in the first 4 weeks then it happened and by the end of 6 months I had reached the mid-range of my ideal weight.
I'll keep working on it.
