Really stormy weather.
They say we could get 60 mph winds and hail. Right after I took this photo the downpour started. I didn't see any hail, but, I don't think we're done yet.
Iggy Thunder, the cat, isn't too fond of this weather and already took off somewhere. He was standing right at the door one second, the next, long gone.
I love taking photos of stormy skies. I just missed getting a bolt of lightning in the picture. I wish I could develop a lightning radar so I could take the photo at just the right second.
You know what? I'm knitting socks and dishcloths these days. I discovered a tote full of old cotton yarns that I bought real cheap way back in the olden days. I've already made 2 dishcloths. 1 green and 1 orange. Right now, I'm working on a green and orange striped one. Cool, eh? Maybe the bright color combination will make me want to wash dishes more often?
First of all, I've never knitted a dishcloth before. Second, I didn't know if people actually washed dishes with these things. So, I did. I was amazed at how absorbant it was. I'm hooked. Now I have to knit my way through the tote full of cotton odd balls.
Speaking of chores.
I need to go hang up the laundry.
I hate chores.....
