Did I get lost?

I haven't been here in a while. Bad me. It's Thursday a.m. and I'm here at work. Just finished lunch (such as it was) and noticed that it's been days and days since I've been here.
What have I done since?
Started another sock. This one is out of Bernat Sox (I think that's the name) in their bright primary colors (Mexican I think). I'm loving it. The colors are awesome.
My youngest daughter went to her prom on Friday. We took photos. I could post the one of me making wierd faces, but I won't.
What's that photo over there? Just a photo of an old building that DD #1 took a couple years ago. I felt obligated to have a photo here today but didn't have a knitting-related one to choose from on my work computer.
I'm still working on my Vintage Vogue sweater. Got side tracked by that silly sock. Funny how that can happen?
There's also another idea running through my head. It involves all that Red Heart green and variegated yarn that I bought last year that sits behind me when I'm on my home computer. An afghan! It's been years since I've knitted one of those. A couple, actually. I knitted pieces of one for DD #2 and haven't finished putting it together yet. Again, bad me. How do people put up with that? Houses filling up around the world with unfinished knitted items and more yarn just keeps arriving on the scene, usually brought by gas-powered vehicles. At my house, the said gas-powered vehicle is large and brown.
Back to work.
No, off to the coffee machine. It's been a couple hours since my last cup of Java.
Oh yes.
One Skein! It's time to get started. Somehow, the information for my recipient didn't quite make it in my e-mail. Had to request another attempt. Maybe Yahoo is getting crabby again.
