....the cat will play.
When I got home from the grocery store this afternoon there was a trail of sawdust leading from the top of the stairs to a spot right in front of the french door at the heat register. To me, it's nothing unusual since we live in a newer log home and we seem to still have sawdust all over the place.
About an hour after I got home I decided to follow the trail to see where it leads. It took me right to the paper bag that used to be full of sawdust. Iggy must have decided to figure out what was inside it and shredded it while I was away. That just goes to show that I should always take a shopping list with me since today was the 2nd trip to the grocery store in as many days. I forgot to buy laundry detergent yesterday and really needed to wash some clothes.
Have I been knitting lately? Yep. I'm working on the Shapely Tee from White Lies Designs out of the same linen/cotton that I made a cardigan from. The cardigan is done - just not together yet. I started sewing the side seams last Sunday but got distracted by the Tee that I'm making to wear with the cardigan. They're going to end up as a layered-look duo since the Tee will be longer than the cardigan. I will take photos of my knitting soon. Really, I will.
I finally wore the socks that I made for the Knitting Olympics. The Lion Brand Magic Stripes socks were picky on my legs. But then, it's possible that my legs were picky - not the socks. The black/multi cotton socks were wonderful. They felt real good. I may have to make more. They didn't stretch out and my feet didn't sweat to death. The black yarn was actually warp yarn instead of knitting yarn.
I'll be back.....
