The last two days of "competition"

Here's a couple photos from the last two days of Olympic Knitting. I was going to post Tuesday's progress yesterday but my internet connection disappeared. Well, I thought it did. I think I disconnected myself from the wireless network. I'm back tonight.
We're having lots of wind here in the Thumbkin of the Mitten known as Michigan. There was a severe storm warning for last night so I kept waking up thinking I was going to have to leave an hour early to get to work this a.m. I woke up at 1:00 a.m. to some ice hitting the window. Woke up again at 3:00 a.m. and didn't see the ice or snow. Got up for good at 4:00 a.m. - still no major storm activity. The News Lady said there was a lot of snow out there so allow plenty of time. So, I left 10 minutes early - mainly because that's all I allowed myself. It only took me 25 minutes to get to work so I was 45 minutes early. When you start at 6:00 a.m. 45 minutes early is a big thing. I had consumed 3 cups of coffee by 6:30 a.m.

I certainly hope everyone's Olympic Knitting is going well!
