The Latest Projects

This is the sweater that is the result of recycling another sweater. The previous sweater wasn't finished yet, only in pieces. Since I bought a pair of purple pants I decided to make something to go with them. This is from hand-dyed slubby cotton and chenille together using the linen stitch.

The sock up there - yep, it's a sock. I'm still trying to figure out why I can't seem to focus my digital camera. That's just ridiculous looking. Out of focus. Nasty.
Anyway, the yarn is Katia Mississippi 3. I love typing that word. Mississippi. Fun. So's the colorway. I was at the toe shaping last night when I realized that I had misread the pattern and had 12 stitches too many. Not good. The sock started out as a size medium and grew to a large by that point. So - rip it, rip it. At the moment I'm reknitting and doing well. I've now got the correct number of stitches and am working towards the toe again.
Happy Knitting out there!
