Yesterday was so windy! Everything blew off the porch and the glass-top patio table is still in the woods upside down. It's still windy today and I think I'd become a windsurfer on land if I try to move it. This little guy smacked his head into the window on Saturday right after I came inside off the roof and sat here at my computer. He got back up off the roof and looked dazed on the window for a few minutes then took off again. He's probably in another state after the 60 mph winds we had yesterday. We have a tree down along the driveway, but, other than that, all is intact.
Now, socks! Karen finally got her birthday socks - only 2 weeks after her birthday. Aren't they pretty? That day she was wearing those same colors. I asked her if she's worn them yet and she said that she hasn't since she's been

wearing her flip-flops still. But, it's Michigan and the weather is turning more fall-like. She says she'll be wearing them soon.
In the meantime - I'm working on several other projects. I can't show you the one on my lap right now. You know how you wonder what your kids put on their blogs? Well, I wouldn't want mine to check out mine and see their Christmas present just yet. I will say that it's pale blue Paton's Divine and it feels so nice. It's working up quickly, too. I may be able to make myself something for Christmas at this rate. (Right.....)
