Here's another old sweater that I found recently when going through some boxes in the basement. It's a fine, fingering weight cotton with some gold lurex wrapped in. I still have more of this yarn and have already made 3 sweaters using it. I must have bought 5 lbs. of that stuff.
Our refrigerator is working again. On July 15th around 10 a.m. it decided to quit working on one of those hot July days. It took until today to get Sears to get it running again. Yep, it's a new one. Less than a year old, so, still under warranty. Hopefully, it lasts a while, now.
I put two items for sale on eBay today. Those are my first so I'll see if I get any action. I started cleaning out my closet and getting rid (well, just moving it out) of all the things that are too big. I was going to donate them to the Salvation Army but decided to try selling the stuff I've never worn. I bought a few things, found out they're too tight, put them away and now, 30 lbs. lighter, they're too big. I'm not complaining. I do need new clothes, though. At least sweaters seem to fit no matter what.
