July Project Done!

August is almost over and I finally have a photo to post showing the "July Project". I'm still not sure just what this fiber is, all I know is it sure feels like mohair. If I do some research and check my recent ebay purchases, I may be able to find the information.
As you can see, it's kinda "sheer". I used this real fine lace-weight yarn on size 4 needles with the ribbing at the bottom being size 1. I used a 2 st. cable pattern at the cuffs. As you can see, I also like my sleeves longer.
Sometime today, I'm going to have another sweater that was packed away in a trunk finished. It's sitting on the dining room table waiting for buttons. I'll post that photo afterwards.
I had some chores to do today, such as go put my paycheck in the bank and buy a sparkplug for Steve's weed wacker, but, it's raining. I decided that I would rather clean the shower instead. We have well water and things get ukky sometimes.
I'm also into sewing. Did I mention that I have a BA in Apparel Design? Maybe not. I decided that since I dropped a few pounds and buying a new wardrobe can be costly, it's time to use that fabric stash along with my yarn stash. I could have one killer wardrobe if I don't do what I usually do. That would be when I make pants and knit sweaters that don't even come close to coordinating. Then, I get that "I don't have anything to wear" syndrome.
