Smelly situation

Silly us. See where we put the cage. Right next to the garage door and the 5-gallon pail of stain that I was working with over the weekend.
We finally came up with a plan on how to remove LePew and the cage. We went to Lowe's, bought a 9x12' sheet of plastic and approached it, dropped the plastic over the cage and took the whole thing out to the field.
Well, then, our next problem was to get Mr. LePew out of the cage. We think he may have gotten into some of the mouse bait we put out so he wasn't looking too good, either. Needless to say, he didn't survive his ordeal and stunk up the cage. Our cage with the now deceased Mr. LePew is in the back acreage of our property awaiting one of us to go and retrieve it after removing the remains.
Our pole barn was being terrorized by something for 5 days. We finally decided to get the cage since it appeared that mice weren't the issue. Something big was shredding plastic bags, moving plastic tubs around and just leaving a mess. We were thinking raccoon since there was no smell. Weren't we surprised.
