Got to get here more often!

When I got home from work yesterday and was walking across our walkway towards the porch I saw something big walking around in the back by our garden. So, I went in the house, grabbed my 35mm and went to sneak up on it. It was a wild turkey! Of course, I can't show you any of those photos since I used my film camera instead of the digital. So, I thought I'd show you a photo of what inspires me to dye yarn. Nature! I let my cosmos go to seed last fall and they're coming up all over. I've even got cosmos coming up in the woods this year where I threw the dead plants in the fall. It's so nice to have all these wooded areas where I can just toss stuff and have it turn to compost. I can step outside my door and toss apple cores, banana peels, old tomatoes, etc. It's gonna be interesing in the woods if they all start sprouting from seed.
I didn't take any knitting photos yesterday. I'm thinking I just might sometime in the next day or so, though. We're gonna be outta here for a few days and I feel that I need to post something that has something to do with knitting!
I started my project for the One Skein exchange. I'm not going to say what it is, either. I'm doing my own design and that's all I'm gonna say.
