My kid had been bugging me for a year to make her
a pair of socks that were originally indended for her
and not someone else. So, yesterday, she got a pair
all her own.
I made them in a week which surprised me. Not that
I'm not a fast knitter, it's just that I have so many projects going at one time, plus work, that I didn't know if I would meet my deadline.
I did and she's happy.
Now, daughter #2, Karen, has a birthday coming up in October so I need to get started on her's. I do have to finish the "experimental socks" that I'm working on for the company that I responded to on the internet.
I have a photo of the yarn that I'm using but I haven't gotten it back yet. You see, I use a 35mm instead of a digital so it takes me longer. Keep an eye out.
